Sydney was back in the studio today for her 9-month session.  Gordon was back as well, helping me get the smiles that I needed.  These two children are so much fun.  I really enjoy their visits.

I don’t often get a chance to photograph school age children because most parents settle for school photos.  That’s a shame because of what they are missing (have you seen those school pictures lately?)  So I jumped at the chance to photograph Allison & John.  These two are some great kids.  John and I talked sports and Allison, well, I see a modeling career in her future.

 Emily’s mom won a gift certificate in a silent auctin that we donated to Relay For Life so she brought Emily in today for her session.  We had a great time and Emily really got into posing for me.  Isn’t she just a doll?

I’m always a little cautious when 9-month olds come in for their sessions until I see how they react to me and the studio.  Nothing to worry about with Sebastion who was in for his 9-month session today.  He made it so easy for me.  He was smiling and even offering his own poses.  Everyone had a great time.

Zack hates having his portrait made…or so he tells me.  You couldn’t tell it while we were doing his senior sports portraits.  Maybe it was me because this is another one of my favorite sessions to do.  I wanted to get a little creative and Zack was kind enough to let me.  So this image is a little different.

This is Ethan who paid me a visit this week.  I posted this image because Ethan is a “back” baby which means he prefers to be on his back instead of his tummy.  He did give me this tummy shot just to keep me happy but when I tried to get more he wasn’t having it.  That’s ok Ethan…you did very well in the other images as well.

 Lucy paid her first visit to my studio this week.  For being less than a month old she took to the portrait session quite well.  Well enough that I got to do some images that I don’t often get a chance to do and some that mommy requested that I had never done before and I do enjoy doing different stuff.

Thank you Lexie and David for bringing Lucy in for me to photograph.  And David, I hope you got into some dry clothes when you got home.

There is nothing in this entire world that is more precious to photograph than a sleeping baby.  Problem is, bring them into a new place and they are too busy looking around to sleep.  Not the case with Blake.  After he was fed we did some photos of him while he was awake and then he went to sleep which allowed me to capture some images that I have been wanting to do for a long time.  Thank you Blake and thank you Shannon for bringing this little bundle in today.

As Danielle and her mom were heading out the door after her senior session this morning, her mom told me that Danielle hates having her picture made.  Really!  She sure fooled me!  What a great session and some great images that I have been wanting to do.  Thank you Danielle for “tolerating” me taking your portraits.

Kobey was back in the studio for his nine-month session.  I just love photographing this little guy.  He is always so much fun and he gives me such great expressions!  Thank you Emily for bringing Kobey in again.
